Tulum photographer Portraits made slowly, in Tulum light.

Portrait and vacation sessions in Tulum, made in natural light and never rushed. Sylwia is based in Tulum and works along the whole Riviera Maya, from Akumal to Cancun.

Photo sessions in Tulum

Most sessions are for people who are in Tulum for a short time and want photographs that look like the trip felt — couples, friends, solo travellers, families. There is no stiff posing and no checklist of shots. We pick a place that suits you, move slowly, and let the light and the setting do most of the work.

Sessions usually happen early or late in the day, when the light on the coast is soft and the beaches are quiet. Midday sun in Tulum is harsh, so we avoid it unless there is shade or water to work with.

Portraits, couples and property, one photographer

Sylwia is an interiors and property photographer as well as a portrait photographer, and that shows in how she looks at a place: composition, light and material come first. If you own or manage a villa or hotel in Tulum, see her work on the architecture page.

Where we’d go

  1. Playa Paraíso Sunrise

A wide, pale beach with leaning palms. Tulum’s coast faces east, so the first light comes straight off the sea while the sand is still empty.

  2. The beach road Early morning

Jungle on one side, flashes of sea on the other — soft, dappled light before the day’s traffic starts.

  3. A cenote Mid-morning

Cool, clear water under rock or open sky. Many cenotes charge a separate fee for photo sessions; Sylwia confirms it in advance.

  4. Your villa or hotel Late afternoon

The sun sets behind the jungle here, not over the sea, so evenings are best spent in a garden, on a rooftop or by the pool.

Or your own hotel, villa or a beach you already love — a session can be built around any place.
