Photo sessions in Cancun

Cancun’s Hotel Zone runs along a narrow strip of coast with the Caribbean on one side and the Nichupté lagoon on the other. That gives two very different backdrops: open turquoise sea in the morning, and soft lagoon-side sunsets in the evening.

Public beaches in the Hotel Zone, such as Playa Delfines, are photogenic and less crowded early in the day. If you are staying at a resort, we can also shoot on the grounds where that is allowed.

Day trips and nearby

Isla Mujeres is a short ferry ride away and works well for a change of scene. Further south, Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Tulum offer quieter beaches, cenotes and jungle settings — Sylwia covers them all.

What people book in Cancun

Couples and honeymoon sessions, family portraits on holiday, friends’ trips, milestone birthdays and proposals. Sessions stay short and easy so they fit around the rest of your trip.

Where we’d go

  1. Playa Delfines Sunrise

The open public beach in the Hotel Zone, with the widest view of the sea on this stretch of coast.

  2. Playa Marlín and Chac Mool Early morning

Central Hotel Zone beaches with deep turquoise water, calm before the day starts.

  3. The Nichupté lagoon Sunset

The one side of Cancun where the sun sets over water — mangroves and a still, reflective surface.

  4. Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres Late afternoon

A short ferry ride away: shallow, clear water and one of the few west-facing beaches in the area.

Or your own hotel, villa or a beach you already love — a session can be built around any place.
