Tulum vacation photographer The trip, as it felt.

A short session during your trip, so you go home with photographs of the two of you — or all of you — rather than a camera roll of everyone else. Couples, families, friends, honeymoons and proposals.

What a vacation session looks like

Sessions are short, easy and unstaged. Sylwia meets you at your hotel, villa or a beach you have chosen, talks through the plan for a few minutes, and then mostly stays out of the way while you walk, laugh and talk to each other. She gives simple direction when it helps and none when it does not.

The aim is photographs that feel like you on a good day, not a template. Expect natural light, real expressions and the setting of the place you are visiting.

Couples, honeymoons and proposals

Tulum is a popular place to celebrate an anniversary, a honeymoon or an engagement. If you are planning a proposal, tell Sylwia in advance and she will scout a spot, agree a signal, and photograph the moment discreetly.

Families and friends

Groups are welcome. Children move fast, so sessions with kids stay short and flexible, built around nap times and mood rather than the clock.

Planning around the season

The dry months (roughly November to April) are the most reliable for light and calm water. On the Caribbean coast, sargassum seaweed can affect some beaches in some months; if it is a concern, Sylwia will choose a cleaner stretch of coast, a cenote or a villa garden instead.

Notes

How long does a vacation photo session take? Sessions are 1.5 hours (proposals 2 hours), plus a little time to settle in. Location is agreed when you book.

What should we wear? Light, plain fabrics in muted or earthy colours photograph best in the Tulum light. Avoid large logos and busy patterns. Bring a change if you want a second look.

Can you photograph a proposal? Yes. Let Sylwia know the date and place beforehand so she can plan the location and be ready without giving anything away.

Are you available in Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Cancun? Yes, across the Riviera Maya. See the pages for Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Cancun for location ideas in each.
